The Aerospace Technician Operating can be employed within an airline company in the preparation, execution and supervision of flight. He takes the title of “dispatcher”.

 

He assists the commander in preparing the flight and develops the operational flight plan.

During the flight, he provides the captain with information necessary for flight safety.

In case of emergency, he triggers the appropriate procedures.

The Aerospace Technician Operating may also be employed in the service of the traffic stop. He works for an assistance company, an airport or an airline company. Then it is called “traffic officer”, “ordinate” or “head of aircraft.”

 

His main functions are:

 

  • Prepare for the arrival of the aircraft, ensure disembarkation and unloading cargo.

 

  • Prepare traffic documents: weight and balance, loading plan… that give to the captain.

 

  • Manage niche.
  • Supervise and coordinate all officers preparing the airplane for its departure time, the boarding of passengers and cargo loading…

 

  • Process and send all messages related to a flight.
